The second issue of Chthonic Matter Quarterly is out today – happy solstice to all who celebrate, and welcome back, Summer! This edition includes a great lineup of writers and I am very eager to check it out.
Chthonic Matter is a quarterly offering of tales from the darkside. Its contents range in tone from the quiet horror of Shirley Jackson to the bleak stylings of Thomas Ligotti — and everything in between. This, the second installment of the series (a new collection is set to be released at the outset of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter each year) boasts the following TOC:
A Few Thoughts From D. Statten Polk — Jason A. Wyckoff
Perdition’s Grist — Jonathan Louis Duckworth
What Gazes Back — Gail Pinto
The Sweetest — Santiago Eximeno
What Happens To Everyone Eventually — Gordon Brown
Ten Green Bottles — Stephen McQuiggan
The Madonna of Bone — K. Wallace King
The Wolf in the Witch’s House — Patrick Barb
You can find my story, Love Is A Ghost You See With Your Heart, in the inaugural/Spring issue.
